Pi, I Ching hexagram #12, represents standstill, stagnation.
The celestial trigram is placed above the terrestrial trigram in
this hexagram suggesting that they exist apart from each other.
Everything is disconnected and unable to communicate properly,
and without adequate interaction, there can be no growth.
Heaven and earth are not communicating creating the impasse.
