Song 8. Mars in B (August 2017)
(fourth incarnation)

At this point in the original Commedia Dante ponders how we may be
united with our Souls, taking on a body of light as we enter heaven,
which is an odd way of describing Soul's shedding of the physical body,
although it could refer to how part of us remained behind in heaven.
Mars, a brilliant, red-tinged world where everything is brighter
and more beautiful, is the fifth circle of paradise in the Commedia.
